Noelle Cahill, MA, ATC is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and currently serves as a clinical ATC for Dr. Saglimbeni at West Coast Sports Institute (WCSI). Additionally, she serves as the Administrative Director of California Concussion Institute (CCI).

A graduate of Sacred Heart University, Noelle played NCAA Division I softball and earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology. In 2015, she was awarded the Connecticut Athletic Training Association Symposium Student Poster Presentation Winner and the 2015 Sacred Heart University Academic Festival Outstanding Achievement Award for her senior capstone project. Additionally, she was recipient of the 2015 Far West Athletic Trainers’ Association “Nelson Family Scholarship”.

Prior to joining CCI and WCSI, she continued her studies and earned a Masters degree in Kinesiology, concentrating in Athletic Training, from San Jose State University. She simultaneously worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Santa Clara University (SCU). At SCU, she worked closely with the team physicians in her role as the physician clinic coordinator, where she met Dr. Saglimbeni and became interested in his approach in the management of concussions.

The summer before earning her masters degree, Noelle lived in South Africa for a month and a half where she interned with the physiotherapists of the professional rugby team, DHL Stormers, and volunteered with children diagnosed with profound cerebral palsy in the township of Khayelitsha.

After graduating from SJSU and completing her graduate assistantship at SCU, she joined WCSI and CCI. Her passion for concussion care has grown immensely since taking on these new roles. She shadowed Michael “Micky” Collins, Ph.D., an internationally renowned expert in sport concussion at the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program. Since then, she has implemented Dr. Collins’ comprehensive concussion program into Dr. Saglimbeni’s clinical practice for complex and chronic concussion cases.

In her free time, Noelle enjoys watching sports, being outdoors, spending time with family and traveling.
